HPAlumni How to join For members For recruiters For everyone |
Change to a single daily email Turn off all emails
Each Yahoo group has a separate subscription list. For each group, you can choose:
Recruiters, please click here. To automatically sort your incoming mail into folders, click here. There are two ways to change your email options to Daily Digest, No Emails, or Individual Emails:
Allow 48 hours for the Yahoo Groups systems to complete your change.
Turn off all HPAA emails except HP Alumni News To turn off all emails except our once-every-two-weeks email newsletter – HP Alumni News – send a single blank message to the corresponding addresses listed below. (The content of the message does not matter – no one sees it.) The email subject line gives the name of the group – i.e. [HPAA Benefits] [HPAA Career] and so forth.
(If your email system won't send the note – which is very rare – change the semicolons in the list of addresses to commas.)
For each of the HPAA groups that you are a member of, Yahoo will send you a note: "Please reply to unsubscribe from..." – to confirm that the request is authentic. (Otherwise, the random forged emails from spammers would be turning off people's emails.) Send a blank reply to each one. (The content of your reply is not read by anyone – the email goes to the Yahoo system, not to us. Not a way to communicate with the HPAA.)
For each of the HPAA groups that you are not a member of, Yahoo will send you a note: "Unable to process your message" – which you can disregard.
After your reply, allow 48 hours for all of the Yahoo Groups systems to complete your change.
