To Leave the HPAA
Instead of leaving the HPAA, you may want to turn off all HPAA emails.
To leave the HPAA, send a single blank message to all the addresses listed below. (The content of the message does not matter – no one sees it.)
If your email system won't send the note – which is very rare – change the semicolons in the list of addresses to commas.)
For each of the HPAA groups that you are a member of, Yahoo will send you a note: "Please reply to unsubscribe from..." – to confirm that the request is authentic. Send a blank reply to each one. (The content of your reply is not read by anyone – the email goes to the Yahoo system, not to us. Not a way to communicate with the HPAA.)
For each of the HPAA groups that you are not a member of, Yahoo will send you a note: "Unable to process your message" – which you can disregard.
After your reply, allow 48 hours for all of the Yahoo Groups systems to complete your change. |
