Before calling the HPInc or HPE Healthcare Benefits Center to resolve a problem, research your personal coverage and reimbursement history.

Then you and the Benefits Center (AlightWorklife) phone agent are looking at the same info.

You have separate accounts at two different, linked Alight companies. Alight Retiree Health Solutions "AlightRHS" (URLs: retiree.alight...) is a nationwide insurance sales agency. AlightWorklife (URLs: worklife.alight...) -- is the operator of the HPInc and HPE Benefits Centers.

Start at https://www.myhpbenefits.com (or for HPE, https://www.myhperewards.com ) to get the HPInc or HPE shell over a generic website that is used by hundreds of other companies.

As a result, the user interface is spotty -- just keep trying links and buttons. Do not use your browser's "back" arrow -- the site may log you off.

If you don't have online access to your Benefits Center account, click "Activate account" and enter some personal data.

1. Check key items on your Benefits Center account.

- More than one phone number -- or an old number -- is an opportunity for confusion, as members discovered when Alight couldn't reach them.

- Members who chose email-only, instead of both postal mail, report receiving receive important communications -- such as disenrollment letters -- buried in emails that looked like a normal monthly notice.

- Check that your account covers any dependents as well as yourself.

- Check "Current Coverage." If you currently have a group plan, the plan name and your "per pay period" cost will be displayed -- because HPInc or HPE is a party to the transaction.

- If you currently have an open-market individual policy, your coverage will be shown as "Alight Retiree Health Solution  $0.00" -- because the Benefits Center has no need for information about the policy you purchased from Alight.

If you see "Health & Insurance Summary" in the center of the page, do not click that link. Wait until the page fills up.

2. How to find coverage history for you and your dependents.

Click "Health & Insurance" in the top row.

Select "Health & Insurance Summary"

In the row of "Quick Links" buttons, you can click...

a. "Review your coverage" to review coverage of you and any dependents for each month for the last two years.

Then select a date and click "Redisplay"

If you have an RRA subsidy, it will display "Alight Retiree Health Solution" [sic] at $0.00 per "Pay Period"
underneath that, either "You Only" or "You + Spouse / Partner (<name of partner>) or some other reference to any dependent.

Try different date selections to see if and when your coverage changed.

b. "Future Coverage" to see your expected coverage next year.

If you have an RRA subsidy, it will display "Alight Retiree Health Solution" [sic] at $0.00 per "Pay Period"
underneath that, either "You Only" or "You + Spouse / Partner (<name of partner>) or some other reference to any dependent.

3. How to find your RRA reimbursement history.

Click "Reimbursement Accounts" in the top row.

Reimbursements are sent via an AlightWorklife service called "Your Savings Account."

(They show on your bank account as coming from "YSA." If you ask a Healthcare Benefits Center agent about reimbursements, they transfer you to a different call center.)

In the row of "Quick Links" buttons, you can click...

a. "Reimbursement Status" displays all transactions in date order. If you select "--All--" and click "Apply" it displays several pages, going back to Jan 2023.

b. "Account Activity" lets you search for a specific word back to Jan 2023.
