Medallion Signature Guarantee (Page updated Feb 24,2026) Click to join our forums Question? Email us: info@hpalumni.org This page gives details for only one aspect of the many HP/HPE-related stocks. Due to the sequence of spinoffs and acquisitions, you may now have shares of HPInc (HPQ), HPE, DXC, Keysight (KEYS), and/or Agilent (A) – in different accounts – and may not have received cash payouts for Micro Focus (MFGP) and Perspecta (PRSP). Transactions were often tracked and reported differently – or not at all. Only you – not the company, plan administrators, transfer agents, brokers, or the IRS – can reconstruct your full employee stock history. Start here: HP/HPE-related stock If you transfer stock out of an account at a transfer agent, administrator, or brokerage, you must obtain a "Medallion Signature Guarantee." Investopedia article: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/medallionsignatureguarantee.asp From the Securities Transfer Agents Medallion Program "STAMP" website... "Users of the MSG Website should note the following: 1) STAMP Participants

issuance of Medallion Signature Guarantees, as well as establish fee
structures, if any. - He or she has presented appropriate evidence of ownership of the security. - He or she has presented appropriate verifiable evidence of the identity of each owner of the security. - The value of the security
has been determined and compared to the Participant’s Medallion Surety
Bond limit. Appropriate evidence of
ownership means a security certificate, in the case of a physical
security; If the value of the security exceeds the amount of the Participant’s Medallion Surety Bond, the Transfer Agent may reject the transaction." https://www.msglookup.com Directory of banks and credit unions that offer Medallion Guarantees: (Rather primitive website.
