The HPAA is U.S.-centric. Alumni from outside the U.S. are welcome to join -- but generally find that the HPAA emails and online forums, except for the TechTalk group, are not useful to them. Instead, use our directory of 190 HP-related social and professional groups worldwide. HPAA membership is not required to join our worldwide LinkedIn group -- or to use our employee stock decoder, our practical advice on using LinkedIn, or our "ASAP Checklist" for people leaving.

2. Make use of the non-country-specific HPAA services listed below.

If leaving or recently left, use our ASAP Checklist. Continually-updated member advice on what to do before losing access to company systems -- and in the following few weeks. While most of the details are U.S.-specific, the same fundamental issues apply everywhere.
Even if not currently looking for a job, you need to be on LinkedIn. LinkedIn helps you reconnect with people who know you and your work. Join "HP Connections" on Linkedin For current and former employees of Hewlett-Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. (HPAA membership not required.) Stock. No one but you really cares about your employment-related stock. You may have had stock in up to seven HP-related companies. Your stock may not all be in the same place or be registered to your current postal address. You may need to retrieve lost stock, dividends, or cash payouts, find stray accounts, or estimate your cost basis. An HP Alumni team has developed a step-by-step process to find and protect your stock. Employee Stock (HPAA membership not required.)
