How to view a thread, search discussions, comment, or post questions using a browser.  (Updated Aug 7, 2025)

No special login is required to access the HPAA forums, which run on the Google Groups system. You read, comment, and post questions using your email. See hpalumni.org/guide 

However, you can view a thread or search past discussions with a Google account -- as discussed on this page.

When you join the HPAA, we set you up to read, comment, and post questions via email. This works with virtually any email address. No site to check regularly; no logins or passwords for you or HPAA to deal with. (You can change a forum membership to receive a single daily digest.) Question? Email us: hpalumni.org/subs

At the end of each individual email, Google includes a generic "view this discussion" link.

If you click that link, you may get a "content unavailable" error screen from Google Account security.

To view an entire thread or search discussions (or if you prefer to use your browser, instead of email, to read, comment, and post questions) you must link your membership in that group to a Google Account. This will work with a non-Gmail address.

- If you already have a Google Account, you can link a non-Gmail address to that account.

- If you do not have a Google Account -- or you want to have a second Google Account -- you can create one that is linked to a non-Gmail address.
