Health systems in Silicon Valley. Menu of Benefits Enrollment pages: Enrollment Menu Based on reports from HP Alumni Association members who have completed enrollment. Email us: info@hpalumni.org (Updated Nov 22, 2025) In Silicon Valley, Sutter/PAMF and Kaiser are the biggest -- but not the only -- health systems.
Sutter/PAMF is concentrated on a massive site in Mountain View. Has
specialized facilities scattered all over. Uses the El Camino hospitals
in Mountain View and Los Gatos. [A friend has AARP/UHC Plan F. Has to go to Mountain View for almost everything. Must be careful to set appointments outside of Silicon Valley morning and afternoon rush "hours." --cg]
El Camino Health has hospitals in Mountain View and Los Gatos, and
clinics throughout Santa Clara County -- from North San Jose, East San
Jose, Willow Glen, and down to Morgan Hill. [I'm very pleased with El Camino. Have
AARP/UHC Medigap Plan F. --cg]
Stanford Health Care has facilities from Palo Alto to San Jose and up to
Pinole and Danville. Their website says that they accept
Medigap plans.
They have a detailed charge estimator
online, which calculates the cost for each procedure for any given
health plan.
Kaiser Permanente has several hospitals
in the SF Bay Area, including San Jose, Santa Clara, and up to Oakland. Offers only their own Advantage plans. Next step: Menu of key Enrollment issues: https://www.hpalumni.org/enroll-menuLink to this page: https://www.hpalumni.org/enroll-siliconvalley |
