Previous Enrollment Guides

We have searchable copies of the Annual Enrollment Guides for HP, HPE, and DEC retirees here on the HP Alumni Association website. (Operated by volunteers. Not officially endorsed or supported.)

Many changes. Lots packed into an Enrollment Guide. Go through your Guide very carefully -- and mark it up.

Even if you have a paper copy, download the current file and Use Adobe Reader's search feature to find specific words or phrases (Ctrl-F; Command-F on a Mac.)

2021 HP, "Pre-2003" HPE, and DEC retirees:

Two HP Enrollment Guides this year. One for cases where the retiree and all dependents are eligible for Medicare. The second is for other cases. The only reference to that issue is in the subtitles on the covers of the two booklets.

If eligible for Medicare:

- 2021 HPInc Retiree Enrollment Guide - Medicare.
Subtitle: "For US retirees who are eligible for Medicare" (Cover: Man with child and stuffed tiger.)
https://www.hpalumni.org/2021HPIncEnrollmentGuide-Medicare.pdf
Be sure to go through the critical info in your Enrollment Guide
-- including changing HPInc plans, dropping and re-enrolling, loss of spouse/partner's coverage, and dependent coverage following your death. (HPInc: Inside rear cover.)

- A separate HPInc insert in the mailing explains the Aon process in detail: “Take time to consider the Aon Retiree Health Exchange”
https://www.hpalumni.org/2021HPIncConsiderARHE.pdf

If not yet eligible for Medicare -- or have a mix of Medicare and non-Medicare to cover:

- 2021 HPInc Retiree Enrollment Guide - Pre-65 and split families - i.e. non-Medicare.
Subtitle: "For US retirees who are not yet eligible for Medicare or who cover a mix of Medicare-eligible and non-Medicare-eligible family members."  (Cover: Woman in jeans jacket.)

Be sure to go through the critical info in your Enrollment Guide
-- including changing HPInc plans, dropping and re-enrolling, loss of spouse/partner's coverage, and dependent coverage following your death. (HPInc: Inside rear cover.)

2021 HP Enterprise:

https://www.hpalumni.org/2021HPEnterpriseRetireeEnrollmentGuide.pdf
Be sure to go through the critical info in your Enrollment Guide
-- including changing HPE plans, dropping and re-enrolling, loss of spouse/partner's coverage, and dependent coverage following your death. (HPE: Page 18.)

- If on Medicare, an HPInc page explains the Aon process in detail. HPE's is essentially the same. “Take time to consider the Aon Retiree Health Exchange”

2020 HPInc Retiree Enrollment Guide combined with the 9-page "What's Changing Guide" (Cover -- gray-haired man and child with guitars.)

In 2020, HPE retirees who tried to access their Enrollment Guide on HPE's Benefits site were presented with the guide for current employees. (Cover -- bearded man hiking with toddler in backpack.) Turns out that the HPE Retiree Enrollment Guide (cover -- gray-haired couple with lollipop) was located in the "Document Library" on the site.
Exact path: Home Page > HPE Benefits Center (Green Box) > new window opens > Library > Content > select Retiree Enrollment Guide from list of documents
