The HPAA was founded in 2000. The Hewlett-Packard Alumni Association, Inc. is a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation incorporated in 2010 under IRS Section 501(c)(7). (EIN 273186972; CA 3325058.)

The IRS classifies the HPAA as a Social Club for mutual benefit, therefore not tax deductible.
