Online Benefits and Finance Forums with member Q-and-A discussions on details of EER, WFR/Layoff, COBRA, retiree health benefits, and transition to Medicare, stock, 401(k), pensions, and other financial issues. The HPAA was founded at the HP Cupertino site in 2000.

The Hewlett-Packard Alumni Association, Inc. is a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation incorporated in 2010 under IRS Section 501(c)(7). (EIN 273186972; CA 3325058.)

The IRS classifies the HPAA as a 501(c)(7) Social Club for mutual benefit, therefore not tax deductible.
