It turns out that you have separate accounts at two different, linked Alight companies.

- AlightWorklife (https://worklife.alight...) -- is the operator of the HPInc and HPE Benefits Centers.

- Alight Retiree Health Solutions "AlightRHS" (https://retiree.alight...) is a nationwide insurance sales agency that carries plans from many, but not all, major insurers.

For your first year, the Benefits Center sets up a Retiree Reimbursement Account (RRA) with an AlightWorklife service called "Your Savings Account" (YSA). Every year, a subsidy is added to your RRA. (An RRA is separate from any other non-taxable accounts -- HSA, FSA, or RMSA -- you might have.)

Each month, you pay list price directly to the insurer. The insurer notifies Alight Retiree Health Solutions and pays them a commission. AlightRHS notifies YSA, which reimburses you every month via direct deposit until your RRA is empty. Any unused money is carried over from year to year. (The reimbursements show on your bank account as coming from "YSA.")

Your Alight Retiree Health Solutions account only shows the original allocation for this year and next year. Not the reimbursements that were made.

You may wish to buy your Advantage or Medigap plan via another path and use the RRA subsidy to buy other plans from AlightRHS  -- such as Medicare Drug  -- or general dental or vision.

The AlightRHS account says: "Reimbursable health care expenses for this account: Medicare Advantage Premiums, Medigap Premiums, Prescription Drug Premiums, Dental Plan Premiums, Vision Plan Premiums."
